Jinita had worked with horses and rodeoed for 30 years before deciding to broaden her horsemanship knowledge by studying Parelli Natural Horsemanship in 2000. Her rodeo career earned her a fully funded college scholarship. She was in the Parelli program for 9 years and has been a licensed 3 Star Parelli Professional for 6 years. In 2010 Jinita decided not to renew her Parelli license in order to increase the scope of what she teaches to include other specific disciplines such as barrel racing, pole bending, reining and cattle work.

Jinita's main interests lie in proper biomechanics - so your horse CAN do what you're asking him to do, in doing things WITH your horse rather than to him - so your horse becomes your partner, and in helping people reach their goals and experience their dreams with their horses.

Jinita specializes in helping challenging horses (bolting, rearing, biting, hard to catch, spooking, bucking, lack of impulsion, etc.) become great partners. She can help both horses and people gain confidence and ride together safely.

Private lessons are $85.00/hour. If there are a minimum of 4 students within an hour or so of College Station she would be willing to come to you. Jinita plans to teach in this area on a regular basis. A one-day course is also an option, for a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6, for $250.00 per participant.

Before having a lesson or attending a course, you'll be asked to complete a short questionnaire about your experience with horses, what you would like to learn and what challenges you're having with your horse. This helps Jinita make sure that she's addressing what you, as the student, want and need.

Jinita also offers video coaching at $85.00 per hour - the charge includes her time to create her coaching comments. For example, a 30 minute video will take an hour to view and comment on. Video coaching can help keep you progressing, problem solving and learning between lessons or courses.
